Dear Parents, Teachers, Friends -

Russian Center’s Winter Concert 2011 will take place on Saturday December 10th, 2011 at the Ryan Elementary school in the gym. The concert will start at 12pm and end at 1:30pm followed by a potluck lunch 1:30pm – 2:30pm. 

    • We need your help! We need 5 volunteers for the set-up before the concert (decorations, music, food, plates, etc.) and 5 volunteers for the clean up after the concert. Please, let us know if you can help – send a reply e-mail to this address  Your help is greatly appreciated. Decorating will take place from 11:30am – 12:00pm – right before the concert. And the clean up will have to be done before 3:00 pm.
    • The event will feature performances by the kids attending classes and potluck party. Please bring a  dish to share for everyone, non-sweet dishes are preferred.
  • There will be an opportunity for the photos with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka. Kids will receive Goody Bags.
  • Due to school restriction please, make sure your children wear non marking sole shoes.
  • The ticket price for the event will be - $12.00 for Russian Center students and $15.00 for children attending as guests. We start accepting payment on Sunday, November 20th. Parents and grandparents and relatives are free with attending children.

3.We will have 3 semesters this year. You can sign up separately for each semester. Tuition will be recalculated accordingly.First semester: Sept 11th – December 11th  11 weeks of classes, no classes on September 18th (festival), or November 27th (Thanksgiving  weekend), or December 11th ( New Year Concert).Second semester: January 8th – March 11th 10 weeks of classes (including open class March 8th celebration)Third semester: March 18th-May 20th 8 weeks of classes, no classes on April 1st (Spring Break), or April 8th (Easter), or May 20th (End of the School Year Concert)

4.We are planning on adding another class for adult Russian language learners. Also, as a new addition for the upcoming year, the Russian Center will offer Math course for high school juniors and seniors. These will be taught in English with the sole purpose of preparing the students to succeed on the math portion of the SAT/ACT exam and get ready for college.

Russian Center’s End of 2010-2011 School Year Concert will take place on May 15th, 2011 at the Holy Transfiguration of Christ Cathedral at the following address: 349 E 47th Ave,Denver, CO 80216. The concert will take place from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The ticket price for the even will be – $12.00 for each child attending (the present included in the ticket price). Parents and grandparents and relatives are free with attending children. The event will be a Potluck Party – the Center will provide water and the soft drinks. Please, plan on bringing at least 1 festive dish to the concert for all to enjoy!
Decorating will take place right before the concert. And the clean up will have to be done right after the concert. PLEASE, VOLUNTEER !!!
