Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 in Longmont
This course can be described as a supporting program to students learning the Russian language. However, this program can also serve as independent course for Russian speaking students who express an interest in theater. Each semester will be concluded with a theatrical production that is inspired by the fairy tales studied in the class during that semester. The learning of these fairy tales will be done through the following aspects: analysis and discussion of the story, plot, central conflict, characters and their interaction, cause and effect, and resolution. During the discussion, we will also study and incorporate all unfamiliar Russian worlds and terms. To make this process more interesting, this will be done through playing educational games. This program will combine elements of actor training with introduction to theory of theater and acting skills.
